Pyone Mjinzu Lwin conducted qualitative research among 15 independent general practitioner clinics—both voluntary patient observation and in-depth interviews with general practitioners, patients, and relatives of patients. This research explores how general practitioners manifest their practice within the constraints of Myanmar's healthcare system, both in relation to patients' experiences in dealing with the system and in how patients develop health care preferences for different services.
